If you could guarantee to pass on one thing to your child, what would it be?

 

I think of this often as I watch my three children grow right before my eyes.  The tween years can be so hard; bodies become awkward, peer groups become competitive, school becomes more challenging and this is the time where tweens begin to form their perception of who they are. It is my hope that my children will feel the love that surrounds them and this love will fill them with confidence and guide them through their tween years and onward through life’s endeavors.

What can we do to make them see how beautiful and loved they truly are?

 

I have decided that this is my goal!  I would like to help as many tweens as I can to look and feel good about themselves and have an unshakable confidence when they hit junior high/high school. I will combine words of admiration, funny stories and words of advice from your child’s relatives, mentors and friends with photographs of your child to create an impactful piece of art that will be cherished a lifetime (so don’t share this page with your tween!). The project goal will be to have you leave with an album or keepsake box, a tangible item that your tween will be able to hold and see which will continuously remind them how they are a loved, and are a unique wonderful person.

 

Can your tween be my model?

I am so excited to get this program up and running, but could use a few additional models to build my portfolio. I am looking for models for this new photography project who are between the ages of 9-13. I will ask the model, their parents and relatives a few questions, then combine the text and photographs to create an emotionally moving picture of your tween.  While the tween will know about the questions I ask them, they will not know about the other interviews or the beautiful slideshow they will see when they come to view their images. This is what makes it even more exciting
